The Zucchini Weenie (hot dog inserted into a zucchini, breaded and then deep fried)
The Boy shot these photos for us at The San Diego County Fair in Del Mar yesterday.
He had a bite of the Zucchini Weenie but it wasn't to his liking, so he tossed it (in his defense, it isn't a natural combination).
He didn't bother to even taste the Texas Tater Dog (below).
He did like the deep fried White Castle cheeseburger sliders, however...
UPDATE: They sold 8,000 of these things during the fair...
