"Cloudy with a chance of meatballs"
This is one of those movies you're supposed to love but I just don't get it.
Sure, it was cute enough (my teeth still ache from the excess saccharin), a good number of the voice-overs were from favorite stars such as Bruce Campbell, James Caan, Mr. T, Neil Patrick Harris & Al Roker. And we have to admit that we loved the raining hamburgers and giant hot dogs and the graphics were first rate.
However, we waited forever for it to get to Netflix and I'm sure it would have been great in the IMAX 3-D version but other than that, it's just 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back...

The Frankfurter Chronicles (The Newsletter with Relish) was established in late 1995, shortly after we got our first PC.
At first, TFC was printed (xeroxed, actually) and mailed to less than 200 people around the country. After a while, it became too cost prohibitive and time consuming (we had approximately 500 readers by then), so we went online only (WeenieGrams, etc), losing more than half of our older, non-computing readers.
That equates to just over 100 issues of TFC and approximately 300 WeenieGrams in slightly less than 15 years; who'd have ever guessed you could write about hot dogs for all that time?
The email version was by invitation only but now, due to a variety of factors, we're moving to Blog World. Please join us as we continue to explore The Wonderful World of Wieners...

The Frankfurter Chronicles' goal is to build consensus among our readers and contributors to ultimately allow us to establish a permanent home for our marvelous, world class collection of hot dog art, collectibles, cookware, memorabilia, promotionals, toys, etc, several thousand pieces, maybe more...
The Hot Dog Hall Of Fame is designed to be a combination Hall Of Fame / Museum / Restaurant / Gallery & Gift Shop and will quickly become a local landmark, national treasure & world famous tourist destination.
We also hope to build a database to include all of our research (30 plus years) and to make it available to the public.
